MJ Latham

Martha Latham is a theatre director who completed her Masters in Directing at NIDA in 2020, and her Honours in Science and Technology Studies from University of Wollongong in 2019.

In 2019, Martha directed a new Australian work titled Slacktivism, by Samuel Lovell for the Phoenix Theatre in Coniston, and later for the 2019 Sydney Fringe Festival.

 

While at NIDA, she directed the music video for Ms. Thandi, entitled The Eyes, an adaption of Caryl Churchill’s Bluebeards Friends in collaboration with Actors Centre Australia, and two digital works entitled ConneXXXion and Gothic von Magic Muscles; or how I learned to stop worrying and love zoom. Her graduation performance was an adaption of Strindberg’s Dream Play by writer Jordyn Fulcher entitled DRRRM Play, where she was mentored by Jessica Arthur.
